is laptop is cumpolsary during engineering course for the engineering student

sire,
please tell me that laptop is necessary during 4 year b.tech. since after paying fees regularly for four year i cant afford laptop and its expanses.....
please reply genuinly ..

for first two years u can make it without a laptop if u r not in CS branch i hope. Its not compalsry to hav it u can make it at ur labs... U may need it afterwrds as u noe being technical is a need. U can make up for a laptop by ur family savings ... two years r enuf for savings. Or u can contact some1 for a second hand.... But stil dont wory its not a big issue!! Relax :)

No buddy there is no need of laptops and all. As said below if you want yourslef to be more involved in studies you may get one

I suggest you get one. But there is not Ultra need of one if you are not in IT,CS Branches.
