there are students welfare association in the campus to help you in that

you can search there phone numbers on the official site of cusat

they are helpful and help you in finding a room as you want

when they are free they put up a banner outside the councelling venue to help freshers out

flats are availble in which three to six rooms are present for stdents to live on a share basis

rent there is quite affordable

everything varies according to the room you take

• CUSAT's official hostels are not allotted to fresher students (for some reasons). so you need to arrange any private hostels r paying guest facility. You can contact the ads near the campus and can just get a room easily.
• Official CUSAT Hostels charges Rs.500 as rent for each room,
• 2 students are accomodated in each rooms (official).
