Mix of both... quite a few Hindi speaking people ... even the malayalis know a bit of Hindi ... but while taking auto .. all u have to mention is the place u have to go ... and they will tell u the price in eng ... that's easy

I think hindi s more comfortable for cochins...ßcoz there s lot of hindi speaking people r there in aluva.so most of the auto drivers know hindi....
