My waiting for SF1P is 10 in 2nd allotment Can i get SF1P in third allotment?

Question

Sir, i have got general rank 958 in cat 2013....... i am a non keralite.....
my status after second allotment is

Waiting List Position
BRANCH     QUOTA     POSITION
SF1P     GEN     10
ME1P     GEN     20
CS1P     GEN     11
SHPF     AIQ     125
..... i donot want msc photonics.......     is it compulsory for me to pay the fees for photonics..........   if i have paid the fees,will i be upgraded for the higher branch?????????

Answer 1

Yes if you are alloted you must pay the fees or you will be disqualified
When a seat becomes vacant in the SF1p you will be automatically upgraded
And you can easily get SF1P in the third or the real time allotments.

comp science is the branch u might get .... because others close up by 650(mech) and 850(sf)..... both have great placements ....  u can however hope for post admission upgradation ..... because realtime allotments wont affect your status
