s&fire or mech.? vich has more jobs & placements,whats the future in s&fire,is it a safe career option?

urgent ! Can one change from s&fire to mech. after first year, which would be a better choice based on placements & jobs in the long run,is private job of s&fire engineer good? of what kind of a job is that of a s&fire officer,would it be exhausting?are there sufficient high salary job in north india for s&f in psu or private, are there more options for better jobs in s&f after doing mba?

• There is a branch change option availabel after the first year completion in which the candidates can change their respective branches to one with "unfilled" seats.Both Departments are blessed with Good faculties and High paying jobs.
• Do some research on both departments not here. You got to ask any experienced engineers before you make up ur mind. Do your homework before you choose the department
• Both departments are good in placements and Faculties.
• Desicion to take Safety and fire or mech rests completely on you . All the best !
