1460 rank in CUSAT cat 13 join CUSAT or take a drop????????

Question

I didn't got desired marks in Mains(107) and i didn't appeared in any other exam except VIT(12k rank) and CUSAT(1460) Family members telling to take one more year (my family is financially not jacked up so,I don't wanna put extra pressure on them)so,should I drop or join CUSAT?does being unsuccessful in jee means the end of the world? Can this be possible that I take admission this year at CUSAT appear in entrance exams next year and join other college if I get good rank?do any one of you know someone who did this?will the authorities allow this? Can I attain desired success with a CUSAT degree? A NON-KERALITE GENERAL

see it's completely your decision if you wanna take a drop.. because it's only you who know your potential...

if you are asking for suggestion I would say better take admission.. you can prepare from colleg also if you have will. i have many friend who cracked iit from colleg also..

Thanks a lot sir I need another favour I have a great interest in theoretical physics and I have thousands of hours of reading behind me in theoretical physics so which branch I should opt. For.( interested in theoretical physics when I was in 5th standard.)+ Wanna do research in theoretical physics  please show me the way.

if u hv doubt abt cusat degree....thn dnt thnk so... ths z a gd reputd clg wth grt value of its btech degree...wth ur rank u cn gt gd branch....overall  i wl say u hv capablty thn u cn repeat...bt if u dnt want to drop...thn cusat z a gd choice,,,,
