well it totally depends on the field of interest,both branches are terrific....placement package for both the branches are good....u should take the branch which u r interested,if u like programming no doubt go for cs ,u love thermodynamics go for mech,,,totally depends on ur interest,we can't suggest u the course which we like n u nt....so this decision is all urs....
