choosing EC over CS do I have to regret?

I asked similar question but at that time I was waiting list full of uncertainty now got my top option i.e. EC. Now it feels a lot better walking on the road of certainty. Now the question is was that a wise choice made or the road not taken? Seniors please give your valuable opinion also is placement an issue with EC @ SOE?

now the only thing you have to do is to study hard and get a sound knowledge of your subject well

cs would have limited you to private sector only but with ec you have your chances in IES and other govt sectors

you can also jump into the computer software field

so it is a choice which you have made

work very hard to prove that you have made the right choice

placemnts in both cs and ec are knowledge based and only candidates who make themselves valuable impressive and eligible enough will be placed well
