Candidates from outside kerala know the value of CUSAT.....hence candidate from outside kerala have got tight competition for the seat in CUSAT and since they r eligible for only payment seat ,the closing rank for general under payment is less as compared to free seat..the keralites with good rank,prefer other colleges and hence the free seats rank has been high....
