Guys, I'm in a Big Problem! :(

Question

Okay so this is my priority list:

1-SHPF
2-ME1F
3-CE1F
4-CS1F
5-EC1F
......
......
13-CE2F

My waiting list position:

CE1F-MSM(9)-GEN(105)

CS1F-MSM(12)-GEN(175)

Currently I'm allotted in CE2F- the last one of the thirteen options I registered.

Obviously, the probability is that in the next allotment, I'm gonna get allotted to CE1F, and in turn CS1F and EC1F are gonna be deleted as they are lower options.

But this is disaster! I've changed my mind! I prefer CS1F much more than CE1F now! I'm really depressed.

Can I get CS1F back if it gets deleted in the next allotment??!

Or if luckily I'm allotted to some other option, can I delete just CE1F, instead of all the other higher options?

Cancellation of higher option(s) are possible.

• Candidates who are satisfied themselves with their status of being admitted in a particular branch shall have the liberty to cancel all or any of his/her higher options. For this, the candidate should submit a request in specified format in person and should sign the register maintained in the counselling venue..
• he/she will be permitted to cancel his/her remaining higher options (if any) before the next allotment as per the schedule. Requests for cancellation of higher options should be submitted in person to the Director, IRAA between 10.am and 3.00 pm on working days. Requests via post/email/telephone/FAX etc will not be accepted.

as per my knowledge

i dont think that after CE2F you would straight away be alloted to CE1F, as far as i know  the upgradation will follow the same order from bottom to top of the list as given in your list ,ie,from number 13th in your list to number 12th in your list and so on. When your upgradation reaches your desired branch you should immediately cancel all of your higher options by going to the university in person.

I Think it would be best if you immediately contact the authorities  CONTACT: 0484-2577159, 0484-2862256 and 0484-2862258.
