but when i called in the university office they said that payment seats are available for all branches

Of the total seats for B.Tech. (Self-financing) 50% are free seats, 40% payment and 10% are NRI payment seats. The free seats are reserved only for Keralite students. For B.Tech in Naval Architecture and Ship Building, Instrumentation, Polymer Science Engineering, 10% of the seats are earmarked for students on All India basis (All India quota) and the remaining seats for the Keralites...hope this makes u clear..

hey there .... payment seats are for non keralites.... and since no stream is confined 100% TO THE kERALITES  ...... all branches have payment seats..... but yes .... keralites can opt for both payment as well as free seats

hey buddy, For B.Tech in Naval Architecture and Ship Building, Instrumentation, Polymer Science Engineering there are no category like free seat or payment seat...in the abov 3 branches ,non keralite gets seat on the basis of AIQ...and the same fees is to be paid by both non keralite and keralite......
