Well lets say u have chance for getting core in second campus.
This years trend depends on Kerala engineering option registration also..
So i think you have to wait for 2nd or 3rd allotment.

On seeing the last rank admitted of 2012...you do hav a chance of gtting core branches in 2nd campus, but then again it also depends on the kerala enyrance rush...good luck!
