Yes you will be able to get addmission for Mtech in any subject if u do Safety and Fire engineering. but the problem is that u will not knw a thing for writing gate examination.

ter are a few Mtech programs for example

and then NIIT has one. but both has participants from Mech or Chemical.

anyways CUSAT is starting an Mtech program in the coming years. 2 years at most. all the arrangements has been made. so i think u shud wait for tat.

Ofcourse you can take M.tech.
Rohith has just said all.
gate will be hard for you coz all the subjects you study on S&F  will be mainstreamed to that course.

No u wont be able to do Mtech. in mech or any other branch if u do safety coz u wont know anything related to any other subject once u do our course, it is all safety related then how can u specialise in a diff branch in Mtech
