doubts about real time and spots

Question

Is that necessary to Register at Real-Time to consider for Spot-Time? Or anyone who has a valid CAT RANK can attend spot time?
My chances in Real Time are very low.I heard from my frnds who were now at the counselling venue that there are a auditorium full of people for a few hundred seats.And my schedule for RealTime is on 5th july,so I dont think there'll be a chance for me to get a seat.so I should attend Spots
Pls answer me Is that necessary to attend real time?

see  spot rounds will only be held if there are seats still vacant after the real time allotments , generally the seats are vacant due to many students cancelling their admission and there fore these spot rounds are held

spot rounds are seperate and you will get its schedule later

you DO NOT HAVE TO REGISTER AT THE REAL TIMES for the spot rounds

for spot rounds a seperate date will be given when you have to come and register
