The IT Act...">

9th rule mentioned in the general instructions:

"Non production of community and annual family income certificates IN ORIGINAL at the time of counselling/admission will result in the disqualification for communal reservation. Attested copies of community and income certificates will NOT be accepted."

Our village office provides digitally signed computer generated and printed community/income certificates. Therefore, the original and it's photocopies are just the same. Getting its copies attested doesn't make any sense. So will they accept those certificates?

PS: Pls don't suggest to call the office because they never respond. :(

The IT Act has given legal recognition to digital signature meaning, thereby, that legally it has the same value as handwritten or signed signatures affixed to a document for its verification. so dont worry !
