about syllabus?

Question

can one consider a degree from cusat grades near to that offered by premier institutes in India(engineering).
is the syllabus comparable to that of centrally funded institutions..(IISc,IIT's etc)????

Hey dude.. the institution was being put into the category of IIt, and it dropped down. Further  moved for IIEST..and now as IIST..

Heard that the syllabus of cusat is somewhat a hard one, so one who has cracked it, would be considered anywhere across the globe..
