Please provide us quidelines about cusat allotment process..
My friends are in muchh confusion about in..
One of my friend got marine eng in first allotment..and its fee is 1.5 lakh..
And when he called to cusat..they said he have to pay the full fee for admission or for consideration of next allotment...
Will you please explain the full procedure of this allotment process..

   Fee transaction is through challan, and the information regarding the amount to be paid is written in the challan itself..       
 
 
  SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR B Tech/MSc PHOTONICS, B TECH LATERAL
                                     ENTRY AND MCA PROGRAMME
1. For B Tech/MSc Photonics, B Tech Lateral Entry, MCA Programme only candidates who
have registered their online options will be considered for allotment for admission.
2. Submission of Online Options OR allotment granted based on the options submitted by the
candidate does not guarantee admission in the University.
3. As soon as a candidate is allotted to a particular branch against a particular option, all his
lower options will be automatically cancelled. However, he/she shall be eligible for automatic
updation to his/her higher options unless he/she cancels his/her higher options fully/partially
in writing.
4. Cancellation of Higher options: Candidates who are satisfied themselves with their status of
being admitted in a particular branch shall have the liberty to cancel all or any of his/her
higher options. For this, the candidate should submit a request in specified format in person
and should sign the register maintained in the counselling venue.
5. Once allotted to a particular branch, the candidate should confirm his/her admission in that
branch by submitting all the required documents in original and by remitting the required fees
on the specified date, failing which his/her allotment will be cancelled without any intimation.
6. Candidates who do not confirm their admission by remitting the required fee in full on the
scheduled date will not be considered for any further updations based on his/her higher
options, if any.
7. Cancellation of admission, for whatever reasons, will result in forfeiture of all options
exercised, if any, by the candidate.
8. Candidates admitted or transferred to any particular branch by virtue of the online options
exercised by him/her shall have to accept such admission/ transfer failing which no claim of
the candidate will stand for any further admission/updation. Once admitted, all the lower
options submitted by the candidate will get cancelled automatically. However, he/she will be
permitted to cancel his/her remaining higher options (if any) before the next allotment as per
the schedule. Requests for cancellation of higher options should be submitted in person to the
Director, IRAA between 10.am and 3.00 pm on working days. Requests via
post/email/telephone/FAX etc will not be accepted.
9. For B Tech programmes offered in the School of Engineering (Thrikkakkara campus), Kunjali
Marakkar School of Marine Engineering (Thrikkakkara campus) and in Cochin University
College of Engineering Kuttanadu (Pulincunnoo campus), candidates having “Kerallite” status
only are eligible for free seats (ie concessional rate of fees). Others are not eligible for free
seats.
10. For the first 3 allotments of B Tech/M Sc Photonics programme, the candidates shall remit
the full fees at any branch of State Bank of India on the specified dates as given in the
schedule. Such candidates shall report for admission at Kunjali Marakkar School of Marine
Engineering, Thrikkakkara campus, South Kalamasserry on the specified dates as given in the
Schedule.

Sorry dude..remit the required fees in full on the date of Admission. Partpayment
of fees or postponement of date of payment will not be
allowed under any circumstances...:(

  • You can read the instructions and its clearly written there .
Once allotted to a particular branch, the candidate should confirm his/her admission in that

  • After paying the fees you will be allotted to a branch. later on next allotment you will get the higher options if any, how ever if the candidate is alloted a branch all his lower options will be automatically cancelled.

let me make it very simple ... since he got marine engg ... he wouldn't have got any other higher options .... so they are telling u to pay the full year fee so as to confirm that u will be taking admission .... if u dont pay now your seat will be given to someone else .... thats it .... dont take tension ... ask/comment if u arent clear yet
