What are the differences between IT and CS ?
My CAT rank is 5582, is it possible for me to get CS in CUCEK ?
And If i take B.tech in IT, will I be eligible for M.tech in VLSI ?

well..in a nutshell CS is a field of computation..involves more of software..algorithms..etc.. and IT is more of management of computers..involves more of networking concepts..transmission and all that :)
yes..i think you have chances for CS in CUCEK..:) but wait for a few allotments to get over..:)
yes..i think you are eligible as GATE conducts a single exam for CS/IT..and VLSI is an option for CS students..:)
