Please help me with my choices [closed]

Question

I am a Keralite, General candidate with a CAT 2014 rank of 822. I also have got CS&E at VIT University on merit. I am expecting a decent rank (<600) in KEAM 2014. I am interested in CS&E primarily. Could you please help me choose the right option that would give me a good Degree, a good placement with a good package?

vit is all time best u, no uniforms. nyc gals ;) u get to live a completely different lifestyle. N VIT has a good ranking among other private colleges with better placements and name and fame than cusat

For VIT you need to have strong financial background.I don't know much about KEAM.But if i have to choose between these options i would choose Cusat.You have extra benefit of being a keralite and you are eligible for free seat.I think you should go for SOE(CUSAT).you can get cs,ece,ee,mech,civil easily.

However is VIT good if the strong financial background parameter that you mentioned is kept aside for the moment? I do understand your point about my eligibility for a free seat at CUSAT.

VIT is good but the dilemma I do face regarding VIT is that it is not AICTE approved. Although,as per supreme court's order any college approved by UGC doesnt need any AICTE approval.But still many companies demand AICTE approved degree.Regarding placement no doubt it is one of the best in India in present days.so you can opt VIT as students from VIT do get placement in good companies.
A number of good companies visit VIT every year.It is also in top 5 private colleges.top 30 colleges in india and better than some lower nit's in infrastructure too.choice is your's :)
