COMMON ADMISSION TEST - 2023 (CAT 2023)

The Common Admission Test of Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) is scheduled to be conducted in various centres of the country.

All admissions except Ph.D/ All Diploma Courses

The candidates who wish admissions for programmes other than Ph.D/ All Diploma Courses in CUSAT should apply for CAT through this portal. Applications in any other method will not be accepted.

Applicants for MBA programme need to register for CUSAT CAT-2023 through this portal and complete the application process. Candidates with a valid KMAT/CMAT/CAT(IIM)Score can apply for MBA programmes. These candidates will be ranked on the basis of KMAT/CMAT/CAT(IIM) Score, Group Discussion and Interview. However, those candidates, without valid score for the time being can register now and they will be provided the opportunity to enter the valid score of KMAT & CMAT before the closure of the application for the MBA program of SMS, CUSAT.

Students who wish to get admission for BTech Marine Engineering at KMSME in CUSAT, should register for CAT 2023, select Course B.Tech and complete the center selection step also. The applicants need to appear for the Common Entrance Test conducted by Indian Maritime University (IMU) and the admission shall be based on the IMU rank. For more details click here.

For M.Tech programmes, preference will be given to candidates with valid GATE score in the respective subject. In the absence of candidates with valid GATE score, candidates without GATE score will be admitted on the basis of their performance in Department Admission Test (DAT) to be conducted by the Departments concerned.

Admission to Ph.D/ All Diploma Courses

For admissions to Ph.D/ All Diploma Courses in CUSAT need not apply online through this portal. The application will be available from the Departments concerned. For details, please check the website cusat.ac.in/academics
